In 2019 I was fortunate enough to discover Tiny Tutus and become part of their family. For the past 5 years I have been able to transfer my teaching skills from teenagers to toddlers and preschoolers. This was one of the best decisions I have made.

Being a Tiny Tutus teacher is a super special role, and experiencing the infectious joy and laughter that the children bring to every class is amazing. Dancing with them, being part of their world and listening to their stories is something truly special and I can’t wait to to embrace and share many more special moments with those who come and join me in South Perth on Friday mornings.

When I’m not teaching at Tiny Tutus I’m still dancing whenever I can in my role as an early childhood educator, as apart from being fun I believe there is so much development and learning that can be done through movement and dance for children.

Miss Livinia

Canning Vale, Perth

Hi there! My name is Livinia or as most of my students call me, Miss Liv.
I started dancing when I was 3 years old, after my mum saw me showing an interest in dance and music from watching me constantly bopping away to Hi-Five and the Wiggles. From then on my love for dance only grew, where I delved into Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary.
I completed numerous examinations of Ballet, RAD Ballet, Tap, and Jazz up to the age of 15. Receiving numerous High Distinctions or Distictions.
In 2017, I was the Performing Arts Captain at my highschool, where I also completed my Cert III in Music and Cert IV in Education Support.
After I graduated in 2017, I began my studies in a Bachelor of Primary Education at the University of Notre Dame Fremantle.
During this time unfortunately, I didn't get much time to dance. That's why in 2023, while I was nearing the end of my degree, I was so grateful to be hired by Tiny Tutus to once again have dance be a constant in my life and teach the magic and joy of dance.
I started as a cover teacher. Though after I graduated University and received my Degree in October of 2023. I am now not only a cover but the regular teacher at Canning Vale Community Centre.
I love seeing little ones smile from experiencing the joy of dancing. What's great about Tiny Tutus is they also can experience the magic of imagination and dreams.
Hopefully we see you soon, thank you!

ACT

Miss Chelsea

Gungahlin

"I started ballet when I was three years old, and later went on to learn jazz, contemporary, musical theatre and tap. Dancing is one of my greatest joys in life, so I sought out every opportunity to dance, whether representing my dance studio by competing as a soloist or as part of a troupe at dance eisteddfods, or participating in local and interstate school run performances.

I began student teaching with my dance studio at the age of seventeen, however after moving interstate and embarking on the course of a university degree, I felt as though I was losing touch with the dance world. So, I searched for work that would allow me to reconnect with my passion for dance. That is how I found Tiny Tutus, and I have never looked back.

What I adore most about Tiny Tutus is forming relationships with my ballerinas and their families, and watching my ballerinas grow in their confidence and love for dance through their classes and recital. I am so passionate about dance and performance, as I believe it is one of the greatest gifts in life. I just love being able to share this gift with my ballerinas each and every week!"

Miss Piper

Hackett, Belconnen

I was trained in the Vaganova and Cecetti methods in Darwin from age 5-18. During this time, I was also very involved in my local ballet school teaching preschool children, as well as volunteering with a community dance theatre which staged productions in the Darwin festival. Over time my real passion has transferred to teaching dance as opposed to performing it. I find teaching young children to be especially rewarding as everyone leaves the class having experienced the wonder and magic of ballet. My goal is always to make the dance room not something to be feared, but a special weekly ritual which ballerinas can feel supported and creative in. When not teaching ballet, I find myself to be boogying around any hallway or kitchen I can locate. Which is something I can only credit to my beautiful dance teachers who taught me the value and joy of movement.

Miss Amelia
