Our Elementary curriculum is for big school ballerinas. When the world is changing for our little ones as they graduate to big school, it is incredibly valuable to have a constant in their life – Tiny Tutus.
Elementary classes prepare our ballerinas for their forever studio. Honing their dance technique, ballet terminology and class etiquette will enable them to smoothly launch into the wonderful world of dance.
The Elementary class introduces ballerinas to the ballet barre – the core of any ballet and dance class that they will attend as they grow. They will continue to learn new and exciting steps within the safe and comforting boundaries of their beloved Tiny Tutus class.
Parents/Carers are encouraged to stay in class in our designated parents area – allowing you the opportunity to watch your young dancer grow and learn all while they feel safe knowing you are nearby.

Tiny Tutus preschool ballet classes are a beautiful, developmentally appropriate beginner ballet program that teaches the basic concepts of classical ballet, movement, music appreciation, rhythm and poise.
Our kids ballet classes introduce important ballet basics as well as encouraging imagination and creative movement. Our lessons include gentle introductions to ballet feet and arm positions, as well as centre and cross floor exercises. Our ballerinas learn about moving in a routine and working together as a group.
Best of all, Tiny Tutus has open ballet classes which means you are welcome to stay in the studio and watch your little ballerina as she twirls! We don’t hide our classes and teachers behind closed doors – we love sharing our program with parents and family.
Our ballerinas are provided with their high quality class tutu on registration and we have beautiful soft, durable high grade leather ballet shoes available for purchase.
